#1 The Gothic Revival theme starts with this amazing drawing for a costume by Charles Frederick Worth who was a fashion designer in the 19th century. This particular piece was presumably created for the stage, however it is unsure it was ever used for an actual play or a ballet.
The costume itself is using gothic architecture elements such as trefoils and pointed arches. Gothic Revival was present in all arts and in different aspects of daily life even costumes!
